SDCC 2017 Panel Highlights!

Look out for these exciting panels at SDCC 2017!

San Diego Comic Con has given fans of fictional series many hyped up moments with their exciting panels of actors and creators as well as their exhilarating trailers and sneak peaks. Without a doubt, SDCC is one of the most anticipated events in the world given the rise in popularity of series like the Marvel and DC comics and the Star Wars movie franchise.

Here is the full list of panels to look out for to get more insights into the creation of these amazing shows, as well as more footage from them.

Thursday (July 20th)

Justice League Action Video Presentation and Q&A (12:30pm-1:30pm, Room 6A). Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman lead the DC Super Heroes against their most infamous foes in adventures packed with relentless thrills, fun and action in Justice League Action. Producers Jim Krieg and Butch Lukic will be joined by members of the voice cast, including Diedrich Bader, Jason J. Lewis, Rachel Kimsey, and voice director Wes Gleason to screen an all-new episode as well as participate in a Q&A.

Marvel’s Inhumans (6:15PM-7:15PM, Ballroom 20). Meet the cast and see exclusive footage from the show that will make television history, with the first two episodes premiering exclusively in IMAX® theatres for a two-week window beginning September 1. Then be sure to check out the full series starting September 29 on ABC.

Voltron: Legendary Defender (10:30AM-11:30AM, Room 6BCF). The first episode of season three will debut, followed by a Q&A. Expected to Appear: Bex Taylor-Klaus, Tyler Labine, Executive Producer Joaquim dos Santos, Executive Producer Lauren Montgomery.

Friday (July 21st)

Batman and Harley Quinn (Ballroom 20). World premiere screening, followed by a cast Q&A. Expected to Appear: Loren Lester.

Archer (5:15PM-6PM, Indigo Ballroom). Archer is FXX’s Emmy® Award-winning, animated, half-hour comedy, known (and praised!) for rebooting itself year after year. Join a VERY special, not-to-be-missed secret guest, plus the voice cast of H. Jon Benjamin, Aisha Tyler, Jessica Walter, Chris Parnell, Judy Greer, Amber Nash, Lucky Yates, executive producer Matt Thompson and co- executive producer Casey Willis as they discuss bringing this animated series to life.

The Big Bang Theory Special Video Presentation and Q&A (10AM-11AM, Hall H). Join The Big Bang Theory as the show returns to San Diego to take you inside the biggest moments of season 10 and behind the scenes of TVs #1 comedy for a special 10th anniversary panel! Cast members Johnny Galecki, Kaley Cuoco, Kunal Nayyar, Mayim Bialik and Kevin Sussman will join producers and writers from the show for a lively discussion and special video presentation.

Bob’s Burgers (4:15PM-5PM, Indigo Ballroom). The Belcher family returns to San Diego for another panel with creator and EP Loren Bouchard, EP Jim Dauterive and cast H. Jon Benjamin, Dan Mintz, Eugene Mirman, John Roberts, Kristen Schaal and Larry Murphy.

Game of Thrones (1:30PM, Hall H). The GAME OF THRONES panel in Hall H at 1:30 p.m. will be moderated by a special guest from Westeros. Panelists include cast members (in alphabetical order) Alfie Allen (Theon Greyjoy), Jacob Anderson (Grey Worm), John Bradley (Samwell Tarly), Gwendoline Christie (Brienne of Tarth), Liam Cunningham (Ser Davos Seaworth), Nathalie Emmanuel (Missandei), Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran Stark), Conleth Hill (Varys) and Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark).

The Walking Dead (12:15PM-1:15PM, Hall H). Expected to Appear: Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Lauren Cohan, Danai Gurira, Melissa McBride, Chandler Riggs, Lennie James, Alanna Masterson, Seth Gilliam and Khary Payton join producers Scott M. Young Justice Q&A (10AM-11AM, Room 6BCF). Do not miss the show’s triumphant return to Comic-Con as series producers Greg Weisman, Brandon Viettiand key members of the creative team, including art director Phil Bourassa, will be on hand to answer your burning questions about the first two seasons of this beloved fan-favorite series and, if you’re lucky, you might learn a thing or two about the highly anticipated Young Justice: Outsiders.

Stan Lee & Friends: A Celebrity Tribute to the Comic Legend (12:30PM, Room 6DE). Expected to Appear: Stan Lee, Felicia Day, Adam Savage, and Max Anderson.

Saturday (July 22nd)

Arrow Special Video Presentation and Q&A (5:50PM-6:30PM, Ballroom 20). Returning to San Diego Comic-Con for a sixth consecutive year, cast members Stephen Amell, David Ramsey, Willa Holland, Emily Bett Rickards, Paul Blackthorne, Katie Cassidy, Echo Kellum, Juliana Harkavy, Rick Gonzalez and producers will be on-hand for an eye-opening conversation about the upcoming season.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow Special Video Presentation and Q&A (4:10PM-4:50PM, Ballroom 20). Last year, the loveable band of misfit heroes traveled throughout the timeline fixing a series of Aberrations. This year, they’ll be turning the crazy up to 11, as a wave of Anachronisms turns History on its head, leaving the Legends responsible for piecing it back together. Join cast members Victor Garber, Brandon Routh, Dominic Purcell, Caity Lotz, Franz Drameh, Nick Zano, Maisie Richardson-Sellers and producers at their annual Comic-Con panel.

The Flash Special Video Presentation and Q&A (5:10PM-5:50PM, Ballroom 20). With The Fastest Man Alive now trapped inside an extra-dimensional energy, and unknown dangers lurking in the shadows, it will be up to Team Flash to free Barry from his own personal Hell. Join cast members Grant Gustin, Jesse L. Martin, Tom Cavanagh, Candice Patton, Danielle Panabaker, Carlos Valdes, Keiynan Lonsdale and producers of The CW’s highest-rated series at their annual Comic-Con panel, and be among the first to find out where things will pick up when season four returns this fall.

Riverdale Special Video Presentation and Q&A (11AM-11:45PM, Ballroom 20). Following the shocking first season finale, don’t miss Riverdale when it returns to San Diego for its second appearance at Comic-Con! Join Archie and the gang as they dive into the secrets that continue to loom over what once looked like a quiet, sleepy town. Join us for a special video presentation followed by a Q&A with series stars KJ Apa, Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes, Cole Sprouse, Madelaine Petsch, Ashleigh Murray, Casey Cott, Haley Law, Asha Bromfield and producers Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, Sarah Schechter and Jon Goldwater.

Stranger Things 2 (3PM, Hall H). Netflix invites fans to join the cast and creators of the pop culture phenomenon Stranger Things, to view never-before-seen footage from the second season that picks up in the chaotic aftermath of Will Beyer’s return to a world that will never be the same. Expected to Appear: Noah Schnapp.

100th Birthday Celebration of Jack Kirby Panel (1PM-2PM, Room 24ABC). Attendees will get a look at over 1,300 images of Kirby’s original art. Expected to Appear: Walter Simonson, Kevin Eastman, IDW PDX Creative Director Dirk Wood, and IDW Director of Special Projects Scott Dubbier.

Todd McFarlane and Robert Kirkman Panel (3:30PM-4:30PM, Room 6DE). Todd McFarlane, the creator of Spawn, and Robert Kirkman, the creator of The Walking Dead, sit down for a one-on-one chat that absolutely cannot be missed! These two titans have forever changed the comics industry, in addition to breaking new ground in everything from toys to television to film. What tips do they have for their fellow creators? How did they rise so high? This intimate panel has all the answers and more.

Marvel Animation – Marvel’s Spider-Man (10:15AM-11:15AM, Room 6A). It’s time to roll out the “Web Carpet,” Spidey fans! Because you’re invited to the WORLD PREMIERE of Marvel Animation’s newest series, Marvel’s Spider-Man! Face it, Tigers…this is the ONLY screening you need to see at Comic-Con!

Resident Evil: Vendetta. Featuring the return of fan favorite characters Chris Redfield (Kevin Dorman) and Leon S. Kennedy (Matthew Mercer) as well as the film debut of Rebecca Chambers (Erin Cahill), RESIDENT EVIL: VENDETTA follows the trio as they aim to stop the spread of a deadly virus that threatens to destroy New York City. Expected to Appear: Erin Cahill (voice of Rebecca Chambers), Executive Producer Takashi Shimizu, Director Takanori Tsujimoto, Dante Carver (motion capture actor) and Capcom Supervisor Hiroyuki Kobayashi.

25 Years of Rob Liefeld Creations. Featuring a celebration of the 25th Anniversary of Liefeld’s Extreme Studios, his tenure as Co-Founder of Image Comics, as well as his time at Marvel where he not only revitalized the New Mutants and X-men Franchises but created some of the most beloved characters in Marvel history, including Deadpool, Cable and Domino, as well as X-Force. The panel will feature special guest Extreme Studios alum including Dan Fraga, Marat Mychaels, Andy Park, Todd Nauck, Dan Panosian, Norm Rapmund, Art Thibert and many more. The panel will be hosted and moderated by Image Comics Co-Founder and The Walking Dead’s Robert Kirkman.

The 25th Anniversary of Batman: The Animated Series — A New Visualecture by Arlen Schumer. Expected to Appear: Arlen Schumer.

Women Rocking Hollywood: Women Directors Changing the Face of Film and Television. This 2nd annual panel at SDCC focuses on the incredibly talented, successful women expanding opportunities for women in film who have made noise and winning awards with their work on both the big and small screens. Scheduled to appear: Kirsten Schaffer(exec director, Women in Film: LA) Tina Mabry(writer/producer/director: Queen of the South, director: Dear White People) Rosemary Rodriguez (writer/director: Silver Skies, director: Jessica Jones, The Walking Dead) Victoria Mahoney (director: Queen Sugar, Gypsy, American Crime) DeMane Davis(writer/director: Lift, director: Queen Sugar) Angela Robinson (writer/director: Professor Marston and the Wonder Women, True Blood) and Gina Prince-Bythewood (writer/director: Love & Basketball, Beyond the Lights), the first woman of color hired to helm a superhero film for the upcoming Silver & Black..
