While the main highlight of Microsoft was no doubt the Xbox One X, gaming enthusiasts were instead more excited about the slew of announced game titles at the conference.

Check out the complete list here:

Anthem

Save the best for the last indeed – Anthem was the last, but biggest game title to be released at the conference. Brought to players by the creators of Dragon Age and Mass Effect, the sci-fi action game features impressive graphics, enthralling gameplay, and multiplayer options.

Look out for its release in 2018, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Shadow of War

Shadow of War Gameplay

Microsoft at E3 presents Bruz, the most charming Olog you'll meet in Middle Earth: Shadow of War. "Bright lord, Dark lord, same thing really."

Posted by Akiba Press on Sunday, June 11, 2017

Orcs trash-talking one another? Not how I’d expect an orc-dinary trailer to start off, but it seems those sultry voices and winning banter stole the show. Gameplay looks pretty neat too, so that is a bonus.

Shadow of War is slated for release on 10 October 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Assassin’s Creed: Origins

Assassin's Creed: Origins Gameplay

Ubisoft has taken a leap of faith with this new Assassin's Creed: Origins gameplay at E3 that takes place in Egypt. (Also, you now have an eagle that can see through walls)

Posted by Akiba Press on Sunday, June 11, 2017

Assassins in Egypt? Yes, that is now confirmed, following early leaks of the game:  The next Assassin’s Creed will be set in ancient Egypt, with an eagle companion that can see through walls – bringing a whole new meaning to the phrase “eagle vision”.

Assassin’s Creed: Origins will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC come 27 October 2017.

Sea of Thieves

Sea of Thieves Gameplay

All hands hoay! Join me scurvy crew in Sea of Thieves! Microsoft has possibly just previewed the best pirate game in recent history at E3.

Posted by Akiba Press on Sunday, June 11, 2017

With Pirates of The Carribean still showing in cinemas, the timing for a pirate-based game reveal has never been better. The upcoming open-world title sees players following a map for a treasure hunt, then getting into some trouble along the way. Just a normal day in a pirate’s life, I’m sure.

Sea of Thieves will be released in early 2018 on Xbox One and PC.

State of Decay 2

State of Decay 2

Getting sick of zombies, but heres another zombie game. State of Decay 2 revealed at E3.

Posted by Akiba Press on Sunday, June 11, 2017

The Cranberries’ song line “Zombie, zombie, zombie” is the exact description of this trailer, with heaps of infected bodies crumbling against the sound of gunfire. Apart from better graphics, it fails to indicate the main difference between State of Decay 2 and its predecessor, so we’ll just have to wait and see.

State of Decay 2 is expected to be released in Spring 2018 on Xbox One and PC.
